08 May Hand Free door Handle COVID 19
Covid-19 has impacted our lives and livelihood. The only weapon we have is social distancing to reduce the transmission of virus. We have learned the virus can survive on surfaces in form of droplets for several hours and sometimes for a day. Mostly, the germs and virus survive on the common door handles used at offices, pubs, clubs, restaurants and many public places. To fight against this unseen enemy,CAD Deziners has developed a 3D printed device that holds the door handle for free opening to help prevent the coronavirus from spreading. The idea is to use the elbow rather than hand to open the door and reduce the risk of transmission.
We all use door handles regularly at several places like offices, public places, shared apartments etc. One touch of virus can transmit through you to your love ones and specially our vulnerable community.
We stand behind our mission to build a better and COVID- safe environment for all Australians. Careful analysis by our risk prevention method advices us that, covered arms instead of bare hands can reduce the transmission rate, we can work together to fight against this invisible enemy. Let’s work together to stop the spread.
The model can be printed using Multi Jet fusion (MJF), Laser Sintering (SLS) or Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) technology. We have various designs of the door handle please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org to get a quote. Please choose from the following design which is appropriate as per your door handle.
